Arizona Coyotes best player answers question about rumored trade to the Toronto Maple Leafs

With their future in Arizona up in the air, the Coyotes continue to be surrounded by controversy. Earlier this offseason after the City of Tempe voted against the construction of the new arena, star forward Clayton Keller voiced his frustrations with the franchise. Keller's father even took to social media to share his disappointment.

Along the way rumors began to surface that Keller wasn't interested in returning to Arizona and instead was seeking a trade. Earlier this summer rumors swirled that the Coyotes had spoken to the Toronto Maple Leafs about a possible swap of Keller for William Nylander. That deal would reportedly fall apart when Nylander wouldn't agree to an extension with the Coyotes.

Keller was finally able to shut down the narrative surrounding him and his future in Arizona. If the Coyotes are looking to take another step forward this year, Keller will need to be a big part of that.
