HOCKEY WORLD LOSES ANOTHER LEGEND - GUY LAFLEUR PASSES AWAY AT 70

It was a heavy heart that we share the news that the NHL has lost another legend. According to Guy's sister Lisa, who called into a Montreal area radio station, Lafleur passed away overnight.

Lafleur, 70, was battling lung cancer at the time of death.

Lafleur played 1126 career NHL games with 3 NHL teams (Canadiens, Rangers and Nordiques). Regardless of the 3 seasons he played outside of Montreal Lafleur will always be a Montreal Canadien. Lafleur scored 1353 points in his NHL career.

BREAKING: Montreal Canadiens legend Guy Lafleur has died at 70. His sister Lise confirmed the news this morning, writing on Facebook "You are done suffering. We will miss you greatly."



Lafleur will be missed by his friends family and the entire hockey world. Our thoughts and prayers are with anyone impacted
