Since becoming the Head Coach of the Montreal Canadiens, Martin St. Louis has preached accountability. The former player knows exactly what it takes to be successful in the league and he preaches those same philosophies to his players on a daily basis. That's why St. Louis is so strict when it comes to following team rules.

Last night the Canadiens lost 9-5 to the Florida Panther in an embarrassing performance by the team. That's why it came as a real shock to everyone when Jonathan Drouin decided to show up late for a mandatory team meeting this morning. Missing the meeting forced St. Louis to ban Drouin from the team's practice this morning.

Jonathan Drouin was late at the team meeting this morning. Martin St-Louis doesn't want to say if he'll play or not tomorrow.

Throughout his NHL career Drouin has had multiple run-ins with management. After refusing to report to the Tampa Bay Lightning, Drouin was traded to the Montreal Canadiens. Throughout his team with the Canadiens fans have been overly critical of Drouin after the forward left the team for personal reasons.

This led to Montreal media member Chris 'Knuckles' Nilan to tell Drouin that if he can't mentally handle the stress he should stay home. Over his time there has also been rumors of Drouin requesting a trade from the Canadiens. This is just the latest incident involving Drouin, who has never found the maturity or success as the energy level so many expected.
