New Jersey Devils fan sends embarrassing letter to the NHL and then shares it online
Last night in a game against the Toronto Maple Leafs, the New Jersey Devils had 3 goals called back. 2 of those goals were called back due to goalie interference, while the 3rd was due to a distinct kicking motion. It's easy to understand why a fan would be upset, but one fan in particular went one step further.
The fan decided not only should he voice his opinion but he should threaten legal action against the league as well. The fan took to Twitter to share the following email.
To whom it may concern,
With zero due respect, the situation room at NHL headquarters in Toronto fired immediately. These bums absolutely robbed the Devils of a franchise record last night. Embarrassing. You should all be ashamed. What kind of third-rate league is this? Deplorable. Just unfathomable what occurred here in Newark on this night. If don't hear back within 72 hours, legal action will be considered.
