Player's own team let's him get jumped after a terrible hit on other teams goalie

There is always that one guy in every team that even his own teammates hate. You know the type of guy I'm talking about, he starts trouble for everyone, snows the goalie and then runs for cover. The kind of guy who considers himself a pest, despite leading the team in times turtled.

This is one of those stories and luckily it didn't lead to series injury. The Instagram Account "buttendz" shared the following:

Great game last last night in Provo. @buttendz x @provopreds Military Appreciation Night Jerseys were er so sick. Great spending time with the Preds during the week. Also, got to kick it with the Spud Kings and my former coach Marty Quarters at the game. Big shout out to the tendy @jeffdreger20 who played great and stayed in the game after this hit.

Luckily the goaltender was not injured and the player involved was given a 5 minute major for boarding and a game misconduct. Hits like this always bring up the question though, should players be allowed to check goalies?
