Not long before the National Hockey League began its training camps, the Arizona Coyotes signed a slew of players to professional tryouts. Today, they have announced some roster cuts.
According to the Coyotes Twitter account, they have released 4 players from their PTO's, including a former 5th overall pick in Olli Juolevi and long time NHL veteran Ryan Dzingel; take a look.
At one time, Olli Juolevi, 25, showed so much promise but he hasn't been able to an NHL regular thus far in his career. Over the course of of his career, Juolevi has only played in 41 NHL games scoring just 2 goals and 1 assist. This likely spells the end of his NHL aspirations.
Dzingel, 31, on the other hand is a veteran of 404 NHL across 7 years in which he played for 5 teams in which he scored 87 goals and 101 assists for 188 total points.
