In tonight's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs,
Brad Marchand of the Boston Bruins used the classic "can opener" move on
Timothy Liljegren that left the young defenceman limping to get off the ice. If you're unfamiliar with a can opener in hockey, think a slewfoot without the person responsible using his arm to pull back on the victim's head/face. In this case, Marchand gets his leg behind Liljegren's, and takes him down at the worst possible moment.
