Boston Bruins Respond to Alleged New Jersey Leak

There have been reports that the Boston Bruins could be looking to unveil new jerseys for the 2025/26 season moving forward, and on Tuesday, the CBC may have accidentally leaked them to the world.

The jerseys themselves don't look to different from what we've seen for the Bruins in recent years, as they, like many of the Original Six teams in the league don't like to take too many risks for their home and away uniforms.

Now, after the leaks were posted to social media, the Boston Bruins have officially responded, and given that it's April 1st, it's no surprise that they tried to explain it away that way.

This is a fantastic response for the team given that, ultimately, these leaks are right more often than not, with many fans making it known on social media that they're incredibly excited about the news.

The other side of this potential leak is the Happy Gilmore link, with the new film set to be released in the summer where Gilmore, played by Adam Sandler famously rocks the iconic Bruins jersey, with many options for how this plays out.

Ultimately, this was a fun way for the Boston Bruins to respond on social media, but given that they likely wouldn't have responded at all if these leaks weren't true, it's fairly safe to assume that at some point in the very near future, we'll see new Bruins jerseys, with these ones likely to be the choice for the team.
