The Boston Bruins haven't actively shopped Brad Marchand this season, but with speculation out there, the captain has now broken his silence on the situation as the trade deadline is now less than a month away.
This season hasn't been a perfect one for the Boston Bruins, and with the trade deadline approaching, insider Chris Johnston is one of many that see this team as a potential seller, with plenty of speculation around their captain over the past few weeks.
While this doesn't mean they're actively shopping players like Brad Marchand, the speculation has been out there for quite some time, with the team potentially looking to move on from their captain ahead of his pending free agency this summer.
No. 63 is currently focused on bonding with his Canadian teammates, but the word of his potential trade has seemingly reached him, as he has now addressed the possibility that he could be moved for the first time in his career.
