David Pastrnak may have crossed the line during a recent podcast appearance making a comment about a player under contract with another team.

Boston Bruins forward David Pastrnak made a recent appearance on the Spttin' Chiclets Podcast where he began to discuss potential players that could be added to the Boston Bruins. While speaking to Paul Bissonnette, Biz began to rattle off names of players that could potentially come to Boston to play with the forward.

Pastrnak was asked if he had done any recruitment at the World Championships. As Biz went through the list he named Edmonton Oilers forward Leon Draisaitl, which elicited a response from Pasta.

I would love Draisaitl!

Biz immediately began to call out that the comment could be perceived as tampering.

After his discussion on Draisaitl, Biz brought up Tyler Bertuzzi as a potential target for the Bruins. Pastrnak made it clear however that Bertuzzi had crossed the line by signing with the rival Maple Leafs.

While it isn't unusual for players to appeal to others to join their team, it rarely happens while players are under contract. It is unlikely that this receives any sort of response for the NHL but it is always up to the Edmonton Oilers to file any potential tampering claims. Given last week that the Oilers filed a complaint with the NHL about the Vancouver Canucks green men sign, anything is possible.
