After 19 years of play-by-play announcing for Bruins hockey games on NESN, Jack Edwards decided a couple of months ago that he's hanging up his microphone. So far, there's been little to no word on any possible replacements. That has changed, according to a report from the Boston Globe.
Edwards stepped down in April after revealing earlier in the year that he had been working with a speech therapist to improve moments of slowed speech. The 67-year-old was given a Stanley Cup Championship ring by the Boston Bruins after their win in 2011.
