Superstar Not Happy With Incident The Referee Caused
The NHL game moves at a blazing pace, with the refs having the near impossible job of trying to keep up with the play. While doing this sometimes refs inadvertently effect play. This is exactly what happened during the Boston Bruins and Florida Panthers Game 1 matchup and Bruins superstar David Pastrnak wasn't happy about it.
Pastrnak was attempting to play the puck while along the boards when referee Chris Rooney accidently gets in Pastrnak's way. Boston's #88 took a pretty good bump on the incident and shot a death stare of disgust at the referee as he got up.
Rooney skated over to check on Pastrnak, who was clearly hurting, during the very next stoppage.
Rooney skated right up to Pasta on bench during next stoppage to check on him
Pastrnak would get an assist on Morgan Geekie's 3rd of the playoffs. This would be the beginning of the Bruins scoring as they would go onto win the game 5-1 in very dominating fashion. The victory gives the Bruins a 1-0 series lead and puts the pressure entirely on the Panthers.
