Nico Hischier appears to be out after a Rasmus Dahlin lands a massive reverse check
During the 1st period of tonight's game between the New Jersey Devils and Buffalo Sabres, Rasmus Dahlin landed a massive reverse hit to Nico Hischier. As Hischier tries to close the gap, Dahlin slows up and delivers a huge reverse hit.
The hit appears to catch Hischier right on the button and as pointed out by Twitter user DaveyUpper, it appears Hischier is out for a second. Hischier quickly regains his composure and that's when tempers begin to flare between the teams.
The only penalty given out on the play was to Hischier for roughing. The Buffalo Sabres would go onto win the game 5-4.
