Jordan Dumias, a draft pick of the Columbus Blue Jackets who has had an excellent junior career, will be in court in April to answer to two charges related to a DUI.
Jordan Dumais, who was last year's MVP of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) while playing with the Halifax Mooseheads, will appear in court in Nova Scotia on April 9.
Dumais, who is 19, was arrested in Halifax on March 1. On March 15, he was suspended for five games by the Halifax Mooseheads, which included four in the regular season and the team's first post season game.
Dumais had 140 points in 64 games with the Mooseheads last season. He has played just 21 games with Halifax this year after dealing with an injury. During that time, he scored 16 goals and 47 points. Dumais has yet to play for the Columbus Blue Jackets after being drafted in the third round by the team in 2022. However, he scored this impressive overtime goal while playing with Columbus in the preseason.
