Another Dallas Stars player had the biggest day of his life this past Sunday!

It looks like the blue line isn't the only thing being locked down this summer in Dallas.

Just days after Miro Heiskanen celebrated his wedding in Finland, fellow Dallas Stars defenceman Nils Lundkvist also tied the knot, this time in Sweden.

Lundkvist married longtime partner Malin Norén, with the wedding confirmed through a post by the venue and images shared on social media by fans and guests. The news was first reported by The Dallas Morning News.
The 25-year-old blueliner is back with the Stars on a one-year, $1.25 million deal and is expected to be fully healthy heading into training camp this fall.

Lundkvist's 2024-25 season was cut short after a shoulder injury forced him into surgery.

He had shown real improvement prior to that setback and was reportedly cleared for contact during the Stars' playoff run. However, he never got the chance to rejoin the lineup before Dallas was eliminated by the Oilers.

Now, with his health restored and his personal life in a new chapter, Lundkvist is hoping to live up to the potential that convinced GM Jim Nill to trade a first-round pick for him back in 2022.

Lundkvist is just one of several Stars players making offseason headlines for non-hockey milestones.

Heiskanen's wedding also drew attention last week, with several teammates in attendance, creating a feel-good vibe around the franchise this summer.
