Jason Robertson was hurt in a meaningless Game 82 for Dallas, and now, he'll officially miss the series opener against the division rival Colorado Avalanche.

The Dallas Stars come into the Stanley Cup Playoffs on a major slide, dropping their last seven games ahead of their clash with their fierce Central Division rivals, the Colorado Avalanche.
Unfortunately, the news for Peter DeBoer's team simply keeps getting worse, as Jason Robertson was injured in a meaningless Game 82 that has put his post-season availability in jeopardy.
On Friday, it was confirmed that the rising superstar winger will now officially miss the series opener on Saturday, and with his availability considered week-to-week moving forward, it's a major blow for a talented team.
We will bring further updates on Robertson moving forward, but with the week-to-week designation, it's unlikely that he'll be available for their first two games, with the rest of the series up in the air beyond that.
Fortunately for Dallas, they have one of the most loaded forward groups in the NHL, and with the return of Tyler Seguin, they hope to be able to cover for Robertson's absence, but with the likes of Cale Makar and Nathan MacKinnon on the other side, they need everybody available for a deep post-season run.
With Robertson out, the team will turn to Evgenii Dadanov, Tyler Seguin and Mikko Rantanen on the right side, and with that depth, they'll look to remain competitive until No. 21's return.
Regardless of availability, this is expected to be one of, if not the most competitive series in round one of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, and even without Robertson, this should be an absolute war between two of the most talented teams in the entire league.
