Teammate shares message Connor McDavid sent to team after losing series to the Vegas Golden Knights
For everyone in Edmonton there were high hopes that this was supposed to be the Edmonton Oilers year. Unfortunately the Oilers ran into a red hot Vegas Golden Knights team. The victory marked another disappointing finish to a promising season for the Oilers.
After the game 6 defeat, one Edmonton Oilers player had a very positive message to send to his team. According to an anonymous teammate, Connor McDavid stood in front of his teammates and delivered an incredible message. According to the teammate he was left feeling ready for next season.
I WANTED TO RUN THROUGH A WALL FOR THE GUY.
The Oilers continue to work towards their ultimate goal and with speeches like this it'll hopefully motivate the Oilers to take that next step.
