Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid is getting brutally honest after goaltender Stuart Skinner was pulled yet again in the Stanley Cup Final against the Panthers.

The Edmonton Oilers have tied the SCF at 2 games apiece after their shocking comeback 5-4 OT win in Game 4 against the Florida Panthers.
But for the 3rd time in the postseason, the Oilers were forced to make a goaltending change after a subpar performance from Stuart Skinner; he was replaced by Calvin Pickard after allowing 3 goals to the Panthers in the 1st period.
Pickard was solid the rest of the way, allowing only Sam Reinhart's game-tying goal with 20 seconds left and picking up his 7th straight postseason win.
Pickard has been announced as the starter for Game 5, and following the morning skate, captain Connor McDavid was asked what he thought of the state of his team's goaltending.
Doesn't really matter. Honestly, we know both guys give us a chance. We know both guys are more than capable. It's all about whoever's going, and obviously, Pick (Pickard) stepped in and played great.

McDavid appeared hesitant to blame Skinner, who was pulled for the 3rd time in the postseason and 2nd time in as many games, for his poor performance that caused him to have to watch the rest of the game from the bench.
I don't think Stu (Stuart Skinner) was at fault at all for any of the goals the other night. I think it was just a victim of circumstance, and Picks came in and gave us a chance. I guess he goes today.

The Oilers have a chance to take a 1-game lead in the SCF if they manage to pick up a win in Edmonton on Saturday.
