Oilers Home Fans Take Taunting To The Next Level
The Edmonton Oilers have the energy of the home crowd behind them tonight as they look to extend the series to a Game 7, after climbing out of a 3-0 hole. The home fans at Rogers Place may have taken the taunting a bit too far tonight.
During the American national anthem Oilers fans were chanting "Sergei" throughout the entire rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner, a taunt aimed at the Florida Panthers star netminder Sergei Bobrovsky.
The home crowd definitley took things too far on that one. The taunting is all fair game but not during the National Anthems.
Edmonton have found a way to solve Bobrovsky of late scoring twelve goals in the last three games after being snake bitten early in the series.
The home crowd have certainly made an impact early, time will tell how intense they get.
