Former NHL forward and current TNT analyst Paul Bissonnette is calling out Oilers goaltender Stuart Skinner after his disastrous outing in Game 3 against the Panthers that resulted in his getting pulled.

The Florida Panthers torched the Edmonton Oilers in Game 3 of the SCF, winning 6-1 and grabbing a 2-1 series lead.
They also chased goaltender Stuart Skinner, who was pulled for the 2nd time in the postseason in favor of Calvin Pickard, after he was scored upon 5 times.
It once again raises a question about the state of Edmonton's goaltending, which appeared to be solved after Skinner quieted his critics after returning to the net and performing admirably against the Vegas Golden Knights and Dallas Stars.
Analyst Paul Bissonnette floated an interesting theory on Tuesday's "Spittin' Chiclets" segment as to why Skinner struggled again - is he tying his skates too loosely?
He shows how Skinner ties his skates, did you see that? You could probably take Skinner's skate off of his foot if you wanted to when it's tied for the game.

I think that...I asked Hank (Henrik Lundqvist) about it, it seems a little weird. You can't push off that good when it's like, so loose.

I am not like blaming him. I am just saying that he went into that all of a sudden.

Co-host Ryan Whitney, a former Oilers defenseman, would have none of what Bissonnette was putting down.
Now, we going with that like now? Like he tied his skates the same way he's been to two Stanley Cup Finals. Don't think how he ties his skates is like why he plays bad last night.

If the Oilers do in fact decide to give Pickard the start, he would be putting his undefeated postseason record in 2025 on the line; he's a perfect 6-0, having won 4 straight against the Los Angeles Kings and then the opening pair of games against the Golden Knights in the 2nd round.
