Brad Marchand's Priceless Reaction to Maple Leafs Fans Chirping Him Goes Viral

The Florida Panthers now have a 3-2 series lead lead over the divisional foe Toronto Maple Leafs after having initially trailed 2-0.

They picked up their 1st series lead by featuring 6 different goal scorers as part of their 6-1 win on Wednesday night in Toronto, much of which was played in a tense 3rd period that featured plenty of physical play.

Longtime Maple Leafs tormentor Brad Marchand, who was traded to the Panthers from the Bruins at the Trade Deadline, had an assist on Sam Bennett's 3rd period goal before being removed from the game during a particularly rough exchange.

As he exited, television cameras picked up a Maple Leafs fan attempting to trash talk him; his amused facial expression told the story of how the night was going.

Said ESPN commentator Sean McDonough on the exchange:

Marchand and the Panthers appeared dead to rights against the Maple Leafs, who won the opening pair of games in the series and took an impressive 2-0 lead going into Game 3 in Florida.

But it was Marchand who potted the winner in OT against Toronto in Game 3 and helping Florida avoid what would have been a near insurmountable 3-0 hole. They now have a chance at a 3rd straight trip to Round 3.

One thing is for sure - no matter which sweater Marchand is wearing, he can still rile up fans of the opposition.
