Matthew Tkachuk Fires Shot at Maple Leafs Ahead of 2nd Round Clash

Panthers forward and assistant captain Matthew Tkachuk has already started the war of words against the Maple Leafs ahead of their 2nd round clash in the postseason.
For the 2nd time in 3 years, the division foes Florida Panthers and Toronto Maple Leafs will meet in the Eastern Conference Semi-Final.
The Panthers defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning in five games during the opening round, while the Maple Leafs picked up a series win over the Ottawa Senators; it was just their 2nd postseason series victory since 2004.
Making an appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show", Panthers forward and assistant captain Matthew Tkachuk is already throwing shade at the Maple Leafs.
It's Round 2. We've been in way more high-pressure games and series than this.
Tkachuk was then asked about facing former Panthers backup Anthony Stolarz, and he was sure to note that there is more than a single ex-Florida player on the Leafs roster.
I don't know, I mean they have Stolie so they have the goalie, they have OEL (Oliver Ekman-Larsson) and they've got Steve (Lorentz) who was a forward for us last year, so they know all of our secrets. I don't know if it's an advantage or disadvantage.
I don't remember scoring much on Stoli in practice last year, he's so big and takes up a lot of the net. We'll have to find ways to get it past him, whether it's guys in front of him or making him move a lot. He's been incredible for them and he was amazing for us last year when he was in. I mean, his numbers were pretty much best in the League when he was in for us. It's gonna be another great goalie battle.
The Panthers and Maple Leafs are set to begin their series on Monday.
