The Florida Panthers are looking to close out the Eastern Conference Finals in Game 5, and now, it appears as though they're getting three key players back.
The Floirda Panthers hold a commanding 3-1 lead in their Eastern Conference Finals clash with the Carolina Hurricanes, although they lost their opportunity at a sweep in Game 4 due to some major injuries.
Now, in the latest update on the situation, the Panthers have announced some great news, with
Sam Reinhart,
Niko Mikkola and AJ Greer all set to return in Game 5 against the Panthers, and as Elliotte Friedman notes, it's a major sigh of relief for Reinhart especially.
Even with the Game 4 victory, the Hurricanes still face a mighty task of getting back into this series, and now that the Panthers are completely healthy, this is a team that believe they can put the series away in five games as a rematch with the Edmonton Oilers in the Stanley Cup Playoffs is looming.
With Reinhart, Mikkola and Greer all healthy, the Panthers have dominated the 'Canes, outscoring them 16-4 through the first three games of this series, and with their return, the Panthers are favoured to close this Conference Finals out in five games.
Ultimately though, the Hurricanes aren't going to make this easy, as they battled hard to pick up the win in Game 4, and with home ice advantage in this one, if they can pick up a win against a fully healthy Panthers, it will mean the series is on, but all we know for now is that the Panthers will be back to 100% as they look to get back to their third straight Stanley Cup Finals in 2025.
