During last night's game between the St. Louis Blues and Minnesota Wild, Jordan Binnington was up to his usual act, but this time escalated from threatening to punch people, to actually punching people. After the Wild's Ryan Hartman scored a goal and bumped the Blues' goaltender, Binnington launched at him and delivered a punch to the face with his blocker and stick.
Now that Binnington has become notorious for his child-like behaviour, hockey fans have been wanting for a goalie to indulge him with a fight, and hopefully teach the Blues' goalie a lesson. Last night, Marc-Andre Fleury became the first to try it, and luckily was mic'd up for the event.
Fleury's agent Allan Walsh shared the amazing video clip above. It begins with Fleury skating directly towards Binnington challenging him to a fight. Just as the fight is about to start, and the referees separate the two, Fleury protests saying ‘It'll be good! He always wants to fight somebody, you know?'
