An analyst suggested bold trade scenarios that could reshape the roster of both the Montreal Canadiens and the Calgary Flames

The Montreal Canadiens need help in all areas of their lineup. With injuries to top scorer Patrik Laine and the youth across the locker room, the Habs general manager Kent Hughes needs to do something to help his team remain in the playoff mix.
While the team looks for its options on the trade market, analysts from around the hockey community try to predict what will happen with the Canadiens.
Both players were involved in plenty of rumors in the past months.
Huberdeau has been struggling since signing his eight-year, $10,500,000 AAV deal with the Calgary Flames. However, with seven points in 10 games this season, he shows that he can still produce offensively.
As for Zegras, reports of friction between him and the Anaheim Ducks general manager Pat Verbeek emerged a while ago, which could lead to a trade.
"Why not take advantage of the situation to try and get Jonathan Huberdeau? I know, I know, Jo makes $10.5 million this season, and he'll keep making that for the next seven seasons until he's 38.

Before rejecting both options, look me in the eye and try to convince me that a healthy Canadiens top six, including Laine, couldn't also feature Zegras or Huberdeau."

Zegras and Huberdeau would be big projects for Martin St. Louis and the coaching staff. Both players are far from producing at the highest of their capabilities, which could make the players' value on the market a bit lower.
If the Habs go after either Zegras or Huberdeau, a trade like this could reshape the top six of the teams involved in the deal.
The Canadiens have the trade assets to pull off an important move, with Arber Xhekaj rumored to be leaving the organization soon.
