Montreal Canadiens Receive Worrying Update at Practice this Morning

Unfortunately, things have now seemingly gotten worse for Montreal, as it has now been reported that veteran Brendan Gallagher was not at practice on Tuesday, which could potentially put him in danger of missing Game Two in Washington.
Gallagher was a +0 differential in Game One, making very little impact on the result of the game, with the only notable moment involving the veteran being this cross-check to the face.
It's unclear at this point in time whether or not that has any effect on why he's missing practice on Tuesday, but with Game Two taking place on Wednesday, the team will be hoping that he can get back on the ice.
This season, Gallagher was a key leader on this very young Canadiens team, posting 21 goals and 38 points in 81 games played, and while many believe they may not even pick up a win in this series, if they are to do so and cause a serious upset, they'll not only need Gallagher on the ice, but at 100% health as well.
For now though, Canadiens fans will have their fingers crossed as they wait to see if the veteran will be back at morning skate before Wednesday's game, as he is a key piece to their third line that could make or break their chances against the loaded Washington Capitals squad.
