Lighting issues forced some changes at last night's game between the New York Rangers and Seattle Kraken, which resurrected old accusations about the Rangers' home arena.
Lights in the away end at Climate Pledge Arena, where the Rangers goaltender would have played two complete periods, were bad enough that officials decided to have the two netminders change ends every 10 minutes.
That got social media users brining up an incident that happened at Madison Square Garden last year.
As for Rangers star Artemi Panarin, who scored two goals on five shots last night, he joked that he was good with the lighting situation.
"For me, I want it darker, so it's harder for goalies. That's why I scored two." - Panarin
