Rangers place forward Barclay Goodrow on waivers
A pretty significant name has landed on the waiver wire on Tuesday afternoon according to multiple NHL insiders.
In a post on social media on Tuesday, TSN's Chris Johnston shared that the New York Rangers have placed forward Barclay Goodrow on waivers this afternoon.
"Placed on NHL waivers today: Barclay Goodrow (NYR)." Johnston said.
Goodrow, 31, appeared in 80 games this season for the Rangers where he put up 12 points (four goals, eight assists), 78 penalty minutes and was a minus-13. He went on to add eight points (six goals, two assists) in 16 games in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The Toronto, Ontario native has three years remaining on his contract with a cap hit of $3,641,667 and a modified no-trade clause with a 15-team no-trade list.
More to come.
