After negotiating back and forth, Crosby had made it clear that he intended on doing everything he could to help the Penguins. Now the best player in franchise history is locked into a new deal.
Last season, Sidney Crosby's scored 42 goals, 52 assists, and 94 points. He had a plus/minus rating of 7 and spent 40 minutes in the penalty box. He also had 278 shots, 10 power play goals, 13 power play assists, and 3 game-winning goals. This was a huge season for Crosby proving he was still one of the elite players in the game.
