The National Hockey League has always been filled with emotion especially down the stretch, wether you're in a playoff spot, in the race or not, the last quarter of the season usually means the temperature of games rise.
Tonight, the San Jose Sharks took on the Washington Capitals were Sharks head coach David Quinn got kicked out of the game for arguing a penalty call, take a look:
David Quinn was ejected after expressing his displeasure over a penalty call
The call came with 14:15 to go in third period. After arguing for a short time, the referee tossed Quinn from the game.
This is becoming a trend in the NHL, if a coach argues a call for any length of time, at this rate, it's becoming quite concerning.
Are the officials not able to take criticism anymore? All this shows is that you can't say anything contrary to the referees call.
I wouldn't be surprised if a fine for Quinn is coming, it would make sense given the recent events surround officials and coaches
