Former NHL enforcer John Scott teased a return to the NHL on his Dropping the Gloves podcast. He specifically mentioned San Jose.

Before stepping away from the National Hockey League heavyweight enforcer John Scott played in 286 games in parts of nine seasons including 38 games with the San Jose Sharks during the 2014-2015 season. Now it seems like Scott at 41 years of age is poised for a comeback of sorts.
Scott who co-hosts the Dropping The Gloves podcast teased a return mentioning
You know where else you might see us? San Jose fans, keep an eye out for this.
After a brief moment in which Scott paused, he backtracked
Should I not mention it? It might not be public. I shouldn't say it yet. I am going to save it, but keep an eye out in San Jose for me.
What is peculiar is that Scott mentioned that the news he broke but didn't mean to had not been made public. This could mean several things, but Scott and the Sharks have likely made an agreement between themselves, and it was going to be released in due time.
Although Scott's time with the Sharks was short, it's evident that he had an impact on the organization if they were contemplating a return or partnership of sorts. Time will tell if and when a role for Scott is announced. Until then, we wait.
