Free agency doesn't open for four weeks and there's plenty of time for the Lightning to extend him, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman has revealed that an offer has been made to Killorn. Friedman said that a long-term extension has been offered to Killorn, but the AAV is on the low-end, but didn't specify any dollar amount.
Killorn, 33, has spent his entire career with the Tampa Bay Lightning after being drafted by them in the third round in 2007. His 466 points are seventh-most in franchise history, while his 805 games played have him fifth in Tampa Bay's history.
The Halifax native set new career-highs in goals, assists and points this past season. In 82 games, Killorn had 64 points (27 goals, 37 assists), 45 penalty minutes and was a plus-18. He added five points in six Stanley Cup Playoff games.
