Jack Roslovic's Free Agency Status Receives Major Update Amid Toronto Maple Leafs Rumors
Weeks ago, the Toronto Maple Leafs were showing interest in Jack Roslovic, a forward who can play the wing and center, who can also score 20 goals.
Jack Roslovic had 22 goals last season and was a solid contributor on a Carolina Hurricanes team that some felt could win the Stanley Cup.
Over the last few weeks, the Toronto Maple Leafs have shown interest in the forward, and there were even reports that he would get signed as soon as David Kampf and Calle Jarnkrok were shipped out.
Things eventually changed when the Leafs made a huge trade for Dakota Joshua, which is a move that came as a shock to many.
Jack Roslovic's Toronto Maple Leafs hopes go to die
Having Jack Roslovic and Joshua on the same team would be redundant, and according to new reporting, the odds of the Leafs signing the free agent are slim to none.
Now, Kristopher Knox of Bleacher Report is claiming that the Canucks are thinking of replacing Joshua with Roslovic. Knox even predicted that this will be the forward's final landing spot.
After trading Dakota Joshua and freeing up some cap space, the Vancouver Canucks may also be in on Roslovic. According to Rick Dhaliwal of CHEK and The Athletic, "there have been talks" between Vancouver and Roslovic's camp.
According to Ben Kuzma of The Province, the Canucks considered adding Roslovic last offseason before settling on Jake DeBrusk. With a second chance to add Roslovic at hand, don't be surprised if the Canucks sign him in the coming days.

The Canucks need to add some pieces to sure up their bottom six, and Roslovic would absolutely be the perfect piece to the puzzle.
Overall, he is a solid player, and he has shown that he can get you over 20 goals per season, which is certainly a valuable trait to have.
As for the Maple Leafs, their bottom-six has been vastly improved compared to where it was last season, and that is something for fans to celebrate.
Hopefully, Brad Treliving can continue to orchestrate some deals and get his team to where it needs to be.
