Emotions run deep in hockey, that's part of the reason people love the sport and if you're a player like former NHLer Kyle Clifford, hitting, fighting and thriving off those often high emotions are how he contributes to his team.
Clifford, now with the Toronto Marlies were taking on the Utica Comets yesterday afternoon and it didn't take long for things to get heated. With the Marlies up 4-1 and the first period winding down, Clifford and Samuel Laberge the gloves for a spirited tilt; take a look.
Kyle Clifford wants a piece of everyone on the Utica Comets after he drops the gloves with Samuel Laberge.
Now the fight itself is great, but after the two players are separated it looks like Clifford still wants a piece of multiple players on the Comets, even continually trying to go after them as the officials are trying to get him off the ice.
You have to love the passion that Clifford plays with here, but there's always a fine line. He was no doubt tossed from the game, but trying to go after more comets players when the officials are trying to get him off the ice is a dangerous game, whether they said something to him on the way by or not.
