Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Anthony Stolarz has been embroiled in some trade rumors as of late, but the new schedule reveal has put things into perspective.
Last season, the Toronto Maple Leafs excelled due to the fact that they had a two-goalie setup thanks to Anthony Stolarz and Joseph Woll.
Overall, this worked out for the team, with Stolarz proving to be the better of the two goaltenders. However, there is now a conundrum involving the veteran netminder as he is entering the final year of his contract.

They could easily get a massive return right now. Stolarz's value has never been higher. That said, a new development has made it clear that the Leafs are much better off keeping him.
This upcoming season, the Leafs will have 15 back-to-backs. That means the Leafs will have a brutal schedule, and in these instances, you want a solid goaltending tandem to get you through it.
Every single season is going to present challenges like this, although the Leafs are one of the teams with the most back-to-backs in the entire league.
As a result, keeping Joseph Woll and Anthony Stolarz feels completely non-negotiable. It has to happen.
