Brady Tkachuk Flamed Online by Maple Leafs Fans After Pathetic Altercation with Henry Thrun
Ottawa Senators captain Brady Tkachuk got into it with Henry Thrun of the Toronto Maple Leafs, and it has since led to a hilarious fallout on social media.
On Sunday, the Toronto Maple Leafs took on the Ottawa Senators in their first preseason game of training camp. Overall, it was a great effort, with the Leafs winning 4-3.
What makes this win so impressive is the fact that the Senators played some of their best players, while the Leafs effectively had the Marlies out there.
Brady Tkachuk was on the ice and was mostly a non-factor as the Leafs got contributions from Calle Jarnkrok, Nick Robertson, and even William Villeneuve.

At one point in the match, Tkachuk got into it with newly acquired Maple Leafs defenseman Henry Thrun. Thrun is a player who is likely to be headed for the AHL, but Tkachuk targeted him regardless.
It was a bit of a pathetic altercation, all things considered, as Thrun moved on exceptionally fast from all of this.
On social media, Maple Leafs fans and fans around the league couldn't help but make fun of Tkachuk for trying to big bro a kid who won't even compete at an NHL level next season.
The fact that Tkachuk and his teammates couldn't even beat an AHL roster also contributed to some of the backlash online.
This entire situation is pretty embarrassing for the Ottawa Senators. After losing to the Leafs in the playoffs, they tried to make a statement, and utterly failed.
They will have another chance to defeat the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday, in their second preseason game.
After fielding a roster full of AHL players, we imagine the Leafs will go with a similar strategy on Tuesday.
