Craig Berube Reveals if William Nylander & Chris Tanev Are Playing Against the Rangers

Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube is being asked about William Nylander and Chris Tanev following their injuries against the Boston Bruins.
William Nylander did not play in overtime against the Boston Bruins on Tuesday night, while Chris Tanev had to leave the game early with an arm injury.
Overall, these are two player who are integral to the success of the team, and fans were understandably worried when they saw that they were not at practice on Wednesday.
William Nylander and Chris Tanev injury status
Today, Craig Berube was on "The Real Kyper & Bourne" where he was asked about Nylander and Tanev's status against the New York Rangers on Friday.
As Berube explained, Nylander is very likely to be good to go on Friday, which is incredible news.
"Nylander will be fine. I think you'll see him tomorrow. He's doing well, he's fine. For Tanev it's still up in the air. For me, its still day-to-day. He will not be in the lineup tomorrow. What he's got, as it goes along its about how he feels. If he's feeling better and better, this guy's a warrior and he's gunna play but for now its day-to-day."
It was also reported a couple of days ago that the Toronto Maple Leafs could be getting back Max Pacioretty on Friday.
This would be a nice injection of offense into the lineup, although it will be interesting to see if he will get back on the second line given the fact that Pontus Holmberg has been a stud over the past couple of games.
Whatever the case may be, the Leafs are on a three-game winning streak and as a result, they are first in the Atlantic Division.
If they can keep up this pace, then perhaps they will go into the playoffs with a huge advantage.
