Craig Berube reveals what's different about William Nylander this season

William Nylander has been a stud for the Toronto Maple Leafs this season and if anyone has taken notice, it would be his head coach Craig Berube.
Overall, Berube has made sure to deliver praise whenever his players deserve it. Nylander has 10 goals this season and he continues to increase his totals. Nylander has also been scoring on the power play, which was previously a sore spot for the team.
However, it appears as though Willy is now starting to excel in a different aspect of the game. Of course, we are talking about none other than defense. Recently, Berube praised his forward for his newfound defensive edge.

«Ah, he's being Willy. Scores goals.... We all know the skill level is off the charts. But he's playing a good game all around. Like, he's not just thinking about offence. He's been very good defensively, and he's in the right spots and doing the right things.»
After a 4-0 win against the Boston Bruins, the Leafs are looking to keep things going in a big way. They want to create separation in the Atlantic Division, and Friday will be the perfect opportunity as they play the Detroit Red Wings. On Saturday, they play the Montreal Canadiens. These are two winnable games and fans are expecting a good result.
