Toronto Maple Leafs forward Scott Laughton took a dirty hit from Eetu Luostarinen on Tuesday night, and now, Leafs head coach Craig Berube is speaking out.

On Tuesday night, Scott Laughton got hit from behind by Florida Panthers player Eetu Luostarinen. Laughton was bloody from the play, and some felt there should have been a penalty.
Of course, that penalty never came. Furthermore, NHL Player Safety is refusing to give out a punishment after the fact.
Laughton himself was upset with how it all went down, and he did not mince words when asked about the officiating on the play.

After last night's tilt, we also got some commentary from Leafs head coach Craig Berube, who was also incredibly frustrated with what he was seeing.
At the end of the day, the Leafs have been on the wrong side of these calls before, and Berube wants to see some justice.
Well, it is a penalty. That is a penalty all day long. They call that 95% of the time, but they didn't call it that time. That's whatever. I am not going to complain about it.
The Leafs are just going to have to understand that this is a fact of life right now, and it may not change anytime soon. You have to dust yourself off and move on.
In fact, the Leafs have an opportunity to move on come Thursday, as the team is looking to take on the Philadelphia Flyers.
They are getting close to being in a playoff spot, and with wins like last night's, they are on the precipice of something great.
Of course, it's not going to be an easy path forward, but this Leafs team truly is starting to get hot at the right time.
