Maple Leafs goaltender leaves practice with injury
The Toronto Maple Leafs appear to be in a bit of a pickle with their goaltending situation yet again after one of their netminders was injured at Saturday's morning skate.
According to David Alter, Maple Leafs goaltender Ilya Samsonov left the morning skate with an injury and went straight to the team's dressing room. He added that an update on his status will come later.
"Ilya Samsonov was just hurt in the morning skate. Goes straight to the room." Alter said.

Samsonov has had a rough year to say the least, but has bounced back since being placed on waivers and spending a week in the American Hockey League with the Toronto Marlies.
Depending on the extent of Samsonov's injury, the Maple Leafs will likely have to go with a tandem of Joseph Woll and veteran Martin Jones for the next little while.
In 31 games this season, Samsonov has a record of 18-5-6 with a 3.06 goals against average, an .889save percentage and two shutouts.
Update: Head coach Sheldon Keefe has said Samsonov is fine and will start against the Hurricanes tonight.
