Tonight, the Toronto Maple Leafs are set to take on the Florida Panthers, and it appears as though Craig Berube has made a change that has angered the fans.
Going into tonight's game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Florida Panthers, the Leafs are four points out of a Wild Card spot. Meanwhile, the Panthers are two points out of the playoff picture.
For both of these teams, picking up a win would be immensely important. Both squads are banged up right now, and there is no denying that the Leafs are particularly injured.
Having said that, head coach Craig Berube is trying to do his best with his current roster. While morning skate on Tuesday is optional, there was a practice on Monday.
During this practice, we got a glimpse of the Maple Leafs' line combinations and the defensive pairings that will see the ice against the Panthers.

For the most part, the forward lines are staying the same as they were against the New York Islanders on Saturday. Auston Matthews will play with Bobby McMann and Max Domi.
Meanwhile, the second line consists of Matias Maccelli, John Tavares, and Matthew Knies. Easton Cowan is on a line with Nicolas Roy and Nick Robertson. Lastly, Steven Lorentz, Scott Laughton, and Calle Jarnkrok are playing on the fourth line.
As for the defensive pairings, the controversial decision is the inclusion of Philippe Myers on a pairing with Simon Benoit. Myers had previously been taken out of the lineup for Matt Benning, but now, he slots back in.

This is a decision that is not playing well on social media, with fans lamenting the fact that Myers has mostly been bad this season.
Whether or not the decision to put Myers back in is a bad one still remains to be seen. If one thing is clear, however, it is that fans don't like it.
