Max Pacioretty Returns as Toronto Maple Leafs Make Multiple Massive Lineup Changes
Tonight, the Toronto Maple Leafs are playing in Game 3 against the Ottawa Senators and it has come with some pretty spectacular lineup changes.
Max Pacioretty has not played NHL hockey in about 75 days and there have been rumblings of when he might be able to get himself into the lineup.
With Game 3 going down tonight and some players not putting their best foot forward, head coach Craig Berube has decided to make some major changes to the lineup.
Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Ottawa Senators
One of those changes involves putting Max Pacioretty in the lineup. He will be on a line with Max Domi and Bobby McMann. This is going to be the fourth line.
Some may see this as a bit of an odd choice, but you will have to see the third line to really see how things have changed.
The third line is going to consist of Calle Jarnkrok, Scott Laughton, and Steven Lorentz who are being rewarded for their solid play so far.
It also just feels like the swapping of the fourth and third line is being done purely for matchup purposes especially since the Senators have final change.

Ultimately, it is going to be very fun to see how these lines come together and whether or not the Leafs can pick up the win in Game 3.
They have a great chance to prove the league wrong tonight and if they go up 3-0 on the Senators, then this is all but over.
Only time will tell whether or not the Leafs have what it takes to go into Ottawa and come away with a win.
