Las Vegas Golden Knights forward Mitch Marner is looking forward to a new season with a new team, and it seems like he is making changes to his gloves.
Mitch Marner has gone through a major life change over the last month, as he left the Toronto Maple Leafs to join the Las Vegas Golden Knights.
Months prior, Marner faced yet another huge life altering event, as his wife gave birth to their first son. It was a huge moment for the forward, who was excited to become a father.
Now, Marner gets to raise his child in a new city, and he is already implementing his son into his new routing with a fresh team.

We say that because recently, it was revealed that Marner was making alterations to his equipment in order to pay homage to his son.
Below, you can see that his child's birth date and his initials are going to be on the inside of his gloves. It is a cool idea that will certainly motivate him every game.
Marner has always been all about his family, and it is very cool to see him do something like this in honor of his little boy.
This is going to be an interesting season for Mitch Marner, who will now have to get acclimated to playing for the Golden Knights.
He will likely be on a line with Jack Eichel, and many wonder whether or not he will be able to hit that 100-point mark again.
Meanwhile, the playoff expectations are going to be heavy. The Golden Knights are Stanley Cup contenders, and if Marner ends up falling off in the playoffs, fans will be upset.
As for Maple Leafs supporters, they will certainly be looking to boo Marner whenever he has a bad moment.
