Nazem Kadri Breaks His Silence on Toronto Maple Leafs Rumors
Calgary Flames forward Nazem Kadri keeps being mentioned in Toronto Maple Leafs rumors, and he has decided to speak out about these recent occurrences.
Nazem Kadri is a player that Toronto Maple Leafs fans absolutely adore, and they would love to have him back on the team by any means necessary.
However, there is a very slim chance of this actually happening. While rumors have suggested that he is coming back, it just does not seem possible.
The Leafs don't have a ton of assets and the Calgary Flames are happy with their center, who had a grand total of 35 goals last season.

Recently, however, Kadri was on the 'Knight Shift' podcast, where he weighed in on all of the rumors that have been surrounding his name as of late.
He acknowledged them, but refused to deny them whatsoever. Instead, he seemed to be inviting these rumors. If you are a Leafs fan, you can't help but be intrigued by this.
It's definitely a topic to talk about so why not talk about it?
Ultimately, it is probably unrealistic to think that Kadri is coming back anytime soon, but you never really know.
He is one of those players who could be traded at the deadline if the Flames find themselves in a bit of trouble.
It seems likely that the Leafs would, indeed, be interested, but fans shouldn't bet on it. A lot would have to happen first.
Leafs fans should simply let the offseason play out and then go from there. Otherwise, they are setting themselves up for disappointment.
