Toronto Maple Leafs forward Max Domi has been struggling so far this season, but a promotion in the lineup could very well change things for the better.
Max Domi has had a rough start to the NHL season, as he has only managed one goal in the first six games while centering the third line.
At the start of the season, Domi was supposed to be on the first line with Auston Matthews and Matthew Knies, although an injury to Scott Laughton changed that.
With the Maple Leafs struggling to start the year, the plan for Domi appears to be getting back on track sooner than anticipated.
Max Domi gets bumped up the Maple Leafs lineup
At practice today, the Toronto Maple Leafs forward found himself on the first line with Auston Matthews and Matthew Knies.
Meanwhile, Nicolas Roy is taking his place on the third line with Dakota Joshua and Bobby McMann.
Lastly, the second line is the exact same, but the fourth line has changed to Steven Lorentz, Nick Robertson, and Calle Jarnkrok.
