Toronto Maple Leafs forward Dakota Joshua was acquired in the offseason in a trade, and if you've been paying attention, you know that the forward has been bad.
When the Toronto Maple Leafs acquired Dakota Joshua, there was a hope that this would usher in a new era of grit in the bottom six.
Additionally, there was a hope that he would be able to get back to his heights of a couple of years ago, when he scored 18 goals.
So far, Joshua has been a massive disappointment with just one assist and a -5 rating. It's been a bad season, and no one is particularly happy.
Dakota Joshua draws the anger of Toronto Maple Leafs fans
Tonight, Calle Jarnkrok will be a healthy scratch against the Seattle Kraken, and this has drawn the ire of Toronto Maple Leafs fans.
As you will see below, most feel as though Joshua is the one who deserves to go.
Dakota Joshua thus far is a big disappointment and his contract is a concern.

I'm no Jarnkrok guy but he has 3G in 5 games and has been one of their most consistent F's to start the year. Tough pill for him to swallow when Dakota Joshua has been doing cardio every game. Or Robertson could've sat too.
One has to assume that Joshua will be watched very closely over the coming games. If he doesn't start to play better, then action will be taken.
It has been unfortunate to watch, but we're sure the forward has it in him to eventually figure it out.
