Toronto Maple Leafs forward Nick Robertson is probably going to be traded soon, although the team is facing a dilemma that is delaying the process.
Nick Robertson has seemingly been on the trade block for two seasons now, and it is starting to get frustrating for both sides.
Coming into this season, Robertson got a raise, but he didn't necessarily get the role he was looking for, as he is trapped in the bottom six.
Now, it seems like a trade is more likely than ever before. Having said that, there is no telling when that trade is actually going to happen.

In fact, according to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet, the Maple Leafs are torturing themselves about this potential trade.
As the insider notes, the Leafs know that Robertson can score, and as a result, a trade might not yield the results they would be hoping for.

At the end of the day, the Toronto Maple Leafs have to do what is best for the future of the franchise, even if that means trading a good player.
This Maple Leafs team has a ton of depth, and as a result, Nick Robertson has been forced to go by the wayside. It's unfortunate, but that is the reality.
General Manager Brad Treliving has made some decent trades throughout his tenure with the franchise, and we expect nothing less going forward.
All Robertson can do is continue playing his game, and try his best to block out the noise that plagues the franchise.
