Toronto Maple Leafs forwards Nick Robertson and Calle Jarnkrok have reportedly been on the bubble, and a new report suggests that won't be changing soon.
Going into this season, the Toronto Maple Leafs knew it would be hard for Nick Robertson and Calle Jarnkrok to compete for ice time with the Leafs.
Their roles have diminished, and while Robertson has the potential to be on the second line, he has not earned that opportunity.
Meanwhile, Jarnkrok is spoken about as if he has already been abandoned by the team. However, he did have a goal in the first game of the season.

During practice today, Robertson and Jarnkrok assumed their positions on the third and fourth lines, respectively.
The Leafs are playing against the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday, and the belief is that they will both crack the lineup with the Leafs looking for stability.
