On Wednesday night, the Toronto Maple Leafs will open their season against the Montreal Canadiens, and as you can imagine, fans are very excited.
Tomorrow is a joyous day for the NHL as the Toronto Maple Leafs are set to begin their season with a match against the Montreal Canadiens.
Overall, this is one of the best rivalries in hockey, and the fans are absolutely in for a treat. Having said that, Leafs fans want to know who will be playing in this game.
Yesterday evening, the team unveiled what this year's roster is going to look like. Of course, the roster will change as the season goes on; however, there was still lots of fanfare around the decision.
Toronto Maple Leafs unveil opening night lineup
Today at practice, the Maple Leafs all but confirmed what the opening night lineup is going to look like. As you can see, the lines are very intriguing.
Matthew Knies, Auston Matthews, and Mattias Maccelli remain on the first line. Meanwhile, Bobby McMann is playing with John Tavares and William Nylander.
Dakota Joshua, Max Domi, and Nick Robertson are together, while Steven Lorentz will play with Nicolas roy and Calle Jarnkrok. Sammy Blais is the extra skater.
