Rumors have been swirling almost everywhere lately regarding the relationship with Canucks' Elias Pettersson and JT Miller, and now some clarity was provided.

Elias Pettersson spoke to rumblings of a rift with teammate J.T. Miller for the first time in the wake of the Vancouver Canucks' 5-4 loss to the Ottawa Senators on Saturday night.
"It's good. I don't know why people try to make s*it up," he said, before apologizing for his language. "Excuse my language, but that's my response to it."

Asked about his relationship with J.T. Miller, Elias Pettersson flatly denied there was an issue. But he grew agitated when asked if the rumors had been a distraction this season.
"Oh my god, next question," Pettersson said bluntly.
The speculation picked up steam when former Canucks head coach Bruce Boudreau recently insinuated there were issues between Pettersson and Miller during his time with the team in the 2021-22 season.
Things took a wild turn on Saturday when current captain Quinn Hughes and head coach Rick Tocchet spoke about the team's dynamics in very vague terms.
Addressing his performance, Pettersson stated that he'd love to get a hat trick each game, but he realizes how hard it is to keep up with putting up points every night.
"Obviously good to battle back, but I think we shoot ourselves in the foot a little bit. I mean, power play, we can't do what we did there, letting it go. But then again, we fought back. But yeah, obviously didn't get the two points."

He added that his main focus remains on winning with the team and ensuring good teamwork rather than individual stats.
On Saturday, the Canucks had two goals from Brock Boeser, and one each from Quinn Hughes and Jake DeBrusk. The Senators had two from Shane Pinto, while Jake Sanderson, Claude Giroux, and Josh Norris each contributed one.
Ottawa goalie Leevi Merilainen stopped 21 shots, while Vancouver's Kevin Lankinen stopped 17.
